She was predeceased by: her father William G. Kauffman; her children, Andrew and Jennifer; and her brother Michael Kauffman. She is survived by: her mother Kay L. Kauffman Dize (Neff); her husband Karl D. Gerhart; her children, David Gerhart (Holly Gerhart) and Rebecca Gerhart (Stephen Koullias); her grandchildren, Lillian and Benjamin; and her siblings, William "Bill" Kauffman, Dorothy Kauffman and Russell "Andy" Kauffman. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
