She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilmer M. Rutt and Ruth Irene Rutt (Stauffer); and her son Douglas James Shirk. She is survived by: her husband Walter M. Shirk Jr.; her children, Tina L. (Jeffery Bevan) of South Lebanon, Tricia L. (late Larry Bevins) of Lititz and Timothy L. Shirk of Lititz; her grandchildren, Nicholas Bevan (Brianne), Jenna Bevan and Alyssa Bevins; and her sister Christine (Robert Schmitz) of Sykesville, MD..
