Edward W. Rafferty Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 5, 2025, at the age of 90, Edward W. Rafferty of Little Meadows, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Edward shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Edward farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Joseph and Lola Corrinne Rafferty (Wall); his wife Patricia Ann Rafferty (Stout); his son Joseph Keith Rafferty; and his grandson Joseph Keith Rafferty, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Laurieann Massey of Statesville, NC, PattyLin Caudill of Statesville, NC and Michael E. Rafferty of Friendsville, PA; his stepchildren, Kathy Nealy (Melissa Buchanan) of Montrose, PA and Douglas Somers (Guy Somers) of Hop Bottom, PA; his sister Annie Mae Hunsinger; and his sister-in-law Gail Rafferty. He is also survived by great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home (232 S Main St, Montrose, PA 18801).
