He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Joseph and Lola Corrinne Rafferty (Wall); his wife Patricia Ann Rafferty (Stout); his son Joseph Keith Rafferty; and his grandchildren, Joseph Keith Rafferty, Jr. and Tiffany Ann Mason.
He is survived by: his children, Laurieann Massey of Statesville, NC, PattyLin Caudill of Statesville, NC and Michael E. Rafferty of Friendsville, PA; his stepchildren, Kathy Nealy (Mark) of Montrose, PA, Melissa Buchanan (Kevin) of Binghamton, NY, Doulas Somers (Cindy) of Hop Bottom, PA and Guy Somers (Lori) of Louisburg, NC; his sister Annie Mae Hunsinger; his goddaughter Anne L. Hunsinger; and his sister-in-law Gail Rafferty. He is also survived by great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
