He was predeceased by: his wife Mavis Hillis. He is survived by: his children, Ted Hillis, Tawyna Medlar (Rich Green), Corey Hillis (Tina Nichols) and Carrie Andreasen; and his stepchildren, Kim, Theresa Nelson, Kirk, Judy Nelson, Kristi, Buck Bailey, Kerry, Carol Nelson, Keefe, Sarah Nelson, Kahl and Eileen Nelson. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home (765 Main St, Vestal, NY 13850). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tracy Creek Memorial Church, 4 Knight Rd., Vestal, NY 13850 or to The Homesteads, 6186 State Route 434, Apalachin, NY 13732 in his memory.
