He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Isaac and Gladys Beachly Wiles, Sr.; his wife Louise Ropp Wiles; his close friend Alice Boyer; and his siblings, Charles I. Wiles, Jr., Earl Wiles and Joyce Cramer.
He is survived by: his children, Dianna Shorb, Brenda Braucher (Daniel), Beth Wiles (Wayne), Bernard Wiles, Jr. (Elizabeth), Graham Wiles (Tracy) and Jody Wiles (Laura); and his sister Charlotte Wiles Tyeryar. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Monahan Funeral Home (125 Carlisle St, Gettysburg, PA 17325). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery (515 S Market St, Frederick, MD 21701).
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Mt. Joy Lutheran Church, 2615 Taneytown Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
