She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Garland Green and Naomi Edith Knight Green; her grandson Edward A. Ruppert; her son-in-law Edward B. Ruppert; her stepson Claude S. Bowers, Jr.; and her siblings, Douglas Green, Filmore Green, Regina Hale, Clara Dell and Gulendya Ford.
She is survived by: her husband Claude S. "Sonny" Bowers; her daughters, Tina Ruppert (Patrick McMaster) of Littlestown and Leah Miller (Roland Miller) of Hanover; her stepdaughters, Tammy Griffin (Jimmy Griffin) of Colorado Springs and Michelle Silverman (Russell Silverman) of Marysville; her grandchildren, Jennifer Ciostek (Timothy Ciostek), Adam Degroft (Alicia DeGroft), Amanda Lookingbill (Timothy Lookingbill) and Joshua Ruppert (Carolyn Thomas); and her stepgrandchildren, Samuel Silverman, Rachel Silverman, Charles Bowman, Robert Bowman and Bruce Cunningham. She is also survived by 10 great- grandchildren.
