James Brown Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on March 23, 2026, at the age of 74, James Brown of Littlestown, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert I. Brown and Treva V. Brown (Kridler); and his sisters, Judy Spangler, Jennie Lookenbill and Tammy Devene.
He is survived by: his wife Minerva (Strickhouser); his children, Christopher Brown of Altoona, PA and Tracy Brown (Sue) of Hanover, PA; his stepson Greg Strickhouser; his grandchildren, Tyler, Trent (Kenli), Bryce, Chloe and Brandon; his great grandchildren, Brinley, Beckett and Blakeli; and his brother Robert Brown (Kitty) of Cooperstown, PA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
