She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester E. Holmes and Verna J. Holmes (Clark); and her husband Ernest D. Jackson, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Crystal L. Jackson Morris (David), Ernest D. Jackson III (Debra) and Blake E. Jackson (Tara); and her sister Verna J. McCann (Holmes) of DeRidder, LA.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
