Betty M. Smith Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 10, 2025, at the age of 92, Betty M. Smith of Lock Haven, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Betty may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Betty touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clark Daniel and Mary Washburn (Matter); and her husband Donald A. Smith. She is survived by: her children, Donald "Rocket" Smith of Altoona, Scott Smith (Mollyann) of Lock Haven, Penny Cummings of Williamsport and Mary Smith of North Dakota. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc. (231 High St, Lock Haven, PA 17745). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church's Prayer Shaw Ministry through the funeral home.
