She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Shearer and Lillian Bower Shearer; her husband Charles "Bib" VanGorder, Sr.; and her grandson Roman Caprio. She is survived by: her children, Debra Sosa (Randy), Barbara Copeland, Cindy Caprio (Jack), Chuck VanGorder (Flip) and James VanGorder (Cindy); and her caregiver Amber. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
