She was predeceased by: her parents, Malcolm D. Kunes and Ida B. Kunes (Confer); her husband Leroy S. "Popeye" Packer; and her brother John R. Confer. She is survived by: her children, Melissa Burd (Doug) of Mill Hall, Lana Davis (Charlie) of Milesburg and Travis Packer of Marsh Creek; her sisters, Karen Nearhood (Bill) of Bellefonte and Rita Harer (Dave) of Lock Haven; her grandchildren, Robbie, Ethan Heineman, Jordan Frantz (Sean) and Olivia Davis; her great grandchildren, Lily Heineman, Aspen, Laurel and Nolan Frantz; and her stepdaughters, Diane, Ness and Linnie.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Liberty Baptist Church (100 Bald Eagle St, Blanchard, PA 16826). A memorial service was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in her name may be made to Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745 to offset funeral expenses.
