As Kenneth departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Kenneth may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Kenneth leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Gillen and Ruth Gillen; and his siblings, Raymond Gillen (Karen Novak) and Sybil Weigle (Charles). He is survived by: his wife Carole Sohmer; his daughter Alison Sohmer of Lock Haven; his siblings, Randy Gillen (Kathy) of Lock Haven and Ginger Grieb (Mike) of Mechanicsburg; and his cousin Emily Sohmer (Peter) of Mill Hall. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rest Haven Memorial Park (47 Rest Haven Dr, Lock Haven, PA 17745).
