Marianne Womeldorf Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marianne Womeldorf of Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 3, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johann W. Braun and Christina Rosskopf Braun; her husband Kenneth Cephas Womeldorf; her son Dale J. Womeldorf; her sisters, Betty Rott and Maria Baranauskas; and her grandson Devin Womeldorf.
She is survived by: her children, David K. Womeldorf of Texas, Monica W. Schonning of North Carolina, Angela M. Cottle of North Carolina and Linda C. Hall of Virginia. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc. (231 High St, Lock Haven, PA 17745). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Fairview Evangelical Cemetery East Main.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital at the service or directly online.
