He was predeceased by : his parents, Abraham Engle and Elnora Engle (Reiter); his wife Beatrice Joy Engle; and his siblings, Dave, William, Randall "Tim", George "Gabby", Geraldine Saulder, Helen Bryan, Barbara Engle and Ada Mabel Sample.
He is survived by : his daughters, Joann Bomboy of Castanea, PA and Cheryl Engle of Huger, SC.; and his sister Lois Engle. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
