He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Mitcheltree and Mildred Mitcheltree; his former life partner Joan; his son Gary Mitcheltree; and his brothers, Kenneth and Albert Mitcheltree.

He is survived by : his son Terry Mitcheltree of Ripley, NY; his sister Genevieve Myers of Lock Haven; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Alexis and Sydney Mitcheltree.
