He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert C. Sweely Sr. and Mildred Berry; and his daughter Jacqueline Fisher. He is survived by : his children, Radelle S. Fritz of Duncannon, Robert C. Sweely III of Lock Haven and Todd R. Sweely (Lori) of Jersey Shore. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 1 great-granddaughter.

Robert being an avid dog and cat lover, in lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a local animal shelter.
