James R. Rishel Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. Rishel Sr. of Loganton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 1, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert G. Rishel and Esther I. Rauch; his sister Peggy A. Strum; and his granddaughter Olivia N. Rishel. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Welsh; his children, James R. Rishel Jr. of Lock Haven, Jonathan M. Rishel (Katie) of Latrobe and Salina L. Rishel of Williamsport; and his sister Edie M. Cox of Selinsgrove. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. James Lutheran Church (3242 Middle Rd, Jersey Shore, PA 17740). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
