He is survived by: his wife Eileen Curry (Dougherty); his nephews, Bill Schmelzer of Flagstaff, AZ, Keith Dougherty of Clifton, NJ and Craig Dougherty (Gail) of Weddington, NC.; and his niece Karen Taylor (Michael) of Charlottesville, VA.
