With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David Dobies of Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. David left this world on November 4, 2025 at the age of 76, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thaddeus J. Dobies and Stephanie "Stella" B. Dubac Dobies. He is survived by: his wife Colleen Streeter Dobies; his sons, Thaddeus "Toby" Dobies (Audra) of Lower Burrell, Joshua Dobies of Arnold, Adam Dobies of Grove City, Eric Suprano (Stephanie) of Indianapolis, IN. and Colin Suprano of Oakmont; his grandchildren, Thaniel Dobies, Chandler Suprano, Daniel McCarthy, Alivia Brewer and Kollin Brewer; and his brother Richard Dobies (Denise "Dee") of Lower Burrell.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rusiewicz Funeral Homes Inc. - Lower Burrell (3124 Leechburg Rd, New Kensington, PA 15068). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025.

The family suggests donations made in his name to the Disabled American Veterans.

He treated me like family and one of his sons. We had a lot of laughs back in the drafting room at Rizzo. He stories, humor, and tough love will never be forgotten. I'm so sad and sorry to hear he was battling cancer. He is at peace now.”
