He was predeceased by : his father Milford Hicks. He is survived by : his wife Carolyn Hicks; his children, Mark Hicks (Jan) of Griffin, GA., Jeanne Blando (James) of Maui, HI and Ross Allen Hicks of Lower Burrell; his grandchildren, Helen, Martha, Deborah Hicks, Alani, Mikaela, Shauna Lei, Whitney and Victoria Blando; and his sister Sylvia Jeanne.
