Though Jerome may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jerome touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Slancauskas and Genevieve Slancauskas (Dombrowski); and his siblings, Richard and Barbara Thornton. He is survived by: his wife Susan Slancauskas (Kurta); and his children, Alyssa Smith (Chris) and T. J. Slancauskas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. (347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, PA 15084). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location.
