With solemn reverence, we commemorate Joan Matt of Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania, whose life came to an end on October 9, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dario Noca and Josephine Dumot Noca; her husband Frederick K. Matt Jr.; her son Frederick K. Matt III; and her sister Cecelia Feldman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Suzette Carbaugh (Barry) of Lower Burrell, Lisa "Dee Dee" Driscoll (Don) of Quincy, CA. and Christine Palko (Jim) of Lower Burrell; and her grandchildren, Laurel Connolly (Chaz), Megan Herman (Brian), Ryan Carbaugh (Megan), Christopher Driscoll (Kelsey), Stephanie Patota (Andrew), Nathan Matt, Mary Jo, Jenna and Lisa Palko. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 7:30 PM and on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. George Building Fund, 1150 Leishman Ave, New Kensington, 15068 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
