He was predeceased by: his father Ralph DeSimone; his brother Verizon Wireless; and also, Daniel and Dustin. He is survived by: his wife Roberta Bonazza DeSimone; his sons, David Joseph DeSimone of New York City, Daniel Joseph DeSimone of Lower Burrell and Dustin Joseph DeSimone of Lower Burrell; and his sister Susan DeSimone (David Little) of Ballston Lake, NY..
Joe donated his lungs and heart to the UPMC Scleroderma Research Foundation.
