It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard M. Potter of Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry P. Potter and Clara Potter (Stull); his wife Betty J. Potter (Roberts); his son Steven D. Potter; and his siblings, Harry "Mutch" Potter, June Dellinger, William, Robert Potter, Nancy Kerner, Patricia Berta and Donald Potter.
He is survived by: his daughter Valerie Potter; his grandchildren, Korbin, Drennan and Stevieanne; his siblings, James Potter of Oakmont and Sally Trefelner of St. John; his friend Mary Walker; and his nephew Jeff Potter.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. (347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, PA 15084). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Allegheny Valley Association of Churches.
