He was predeceased by : his parents, Anna Josecki Artkowsky and Joseph Artkowsky; and his siblings, Ida Snyder (John), Olga Pometo (Andy), Sophia McNally (Patrick), Joe Artkowsky (Vincie), Ted Artkowsky (Sue), Ginger Litz (Chuck), Violet Cole (Larry), Loretta Hammersly Bachman (Red), Irene Kafoury (Fred) and Henry Artkowsky.
He is survived by : his wife Evelyn Sobotka (Capoccioni) of Concordia; his stepchildren, Walter Sobotka Artkowsky and Marlene Sobotka Artkowsky; his children, Robin Ann Artkowsky (Greg) of Indiana, PA, Dr. Walter Artkowsky (Leslie) of Waynesburg, PA and Marlene Dhar (Vijay); his granddaughters, Emily Strohm (Joshua) of Downingtown, PA and Anna Artkowsky of Charlotte, NC; his great grandchild Madelyn Jane Strohm of Downingtown, PA.; and his brother Donald Artkowsky (Betty) of Georgia.
