We are sad to announce that on May 17, 2024, Shirley Vokes of Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania, born in Mogadore, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Farmer and Jesse Farmer (Hoskinson); her spouse Glenn Vokes; her son Glenn William "Bucky" Vokes, Jr.; and her siblings, Calvin Farmer, Helen Tresco (late Johnny), Ruth Conley and Cleo Skinner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Heidi Jane Oskin (Jason), Toni Marie Vokes, Bambi Sue Horneman (Tom), Melody Lynn Vokes and Elizabeth Ann Vokes of Lower Burrell; her grandchildren, Todd Vokes (Melissa), Selena Callender (Tom), Jason Mator and Rebecca Vokes; her great grandchildren, Nathan, Benjamin Vokes, Marissa, Abby, Ally, Tommy, Ethan Callender, Cameron, Elijah Mator and Kingston Gordon; and her brother Harold Farmer (Doris).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pine Run Presbyterian Church in Markle or the Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley.
