She was predeceased by: her parents, Thankamma Philip and V. V. Philip; and her husband Thomas Roy Ittyerah. She is survived by: her son Ranjit. She is also survived by three siblings.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Trinity Episcopal Church (750 Skippack Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. At the height of the Covid-19 pandemic Shantha cared for her younger son as he underwent cancer treatment.
