She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry O'Banion and Wilma P. O'Banion (Dickerson); and her husband James F. Burd. She is survived by: her children, Jason F. Burd (Virginia) and Suzanne L. Givler (Mike); and her grandchildren, Bradley Givler, Allison Saylor (Seth), Emma Burd, Sophia Burd and Lucas Burd.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. (260 E Main St, Middletown, PA 17057). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
