She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Gring and LeRue Gring (Rhey); her spouse Gene Shope; and her brother Larry R. Gring. She is survived by: her daughter Dr. Linda Shope of Blue Bell; her granddaughter Mary Caitlin Shope; her great grandchildren, Brayden Avery Malloy of Blue Bell and Killian Malloy of Blue Bell; her nephew Kent Gring of Thailand; and her niece Sonja B. Shope of Selinsgrove.
She made sweaters, dishcloths and Afghans for charity and, especially veterans.
