It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Karen D. Patton of Lower Paxton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 18, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Gutshall and Dorothy Gutshall (Sowers); and her siblings, Ronald Gutshall and Carol McMillian. She is survived by: her husband Harold E. Patton; her children, Scott E. Patton (Brian Francis) of Harrisburg, Jennifer A. Patton of Harrisburg and Susan P. Burnside (Earl) of Emmaus; her siblings, Marion L. Gutshall of Murrells Inlet, SC and Phyllis Taylor of Red Lion; her grandchildren, Brooke Shaffer (Josh) and Amie Englehart; and her great grandchildren, Landon and Maddox Shaffer.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hetrick-Bitner Funeral Home (3125 Walnut St, Harrisburg, PA 17109).
