He was predeceased by: his parents, Enrico Sgro and Stella Sgro (Yoncuskie); and his siblings, Henry Sgro and Gloria Mikulak. He is survived by: his wife Joy F. Sgro (Hoffman); his sons, Derek E. Sgro (Michelle) of Ponte Vedra, FL, Jason E. Sgro (Kelly Shaffer) of Newville and Jesse R. Snyder (Ashley) of Berrysburg; his grandchildren, Sophie, Hudson, Harper and Deacon; and his nephew David Nirenberg.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Jesus Catholic Church (6150 Allentown Blvd, Harrisburg, PA 17112). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
