He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Rider and Anna Rider; his brother Joseph Rider; his former wife Suzann Sheppard; his friend Sarah Musser; and his pet Simba.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy (Sincia), Todd Rider (Karen) and Amanda Rider Carchi (Joseph); his grandchildren, Angelina, Ariana, Arwen, Anderson, Oliver, Owen and Marie; and his siblings, Marilyn Neyhart, Tom Rider, John Rider and David Rider.
