She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin J. Burd and Gladys Burd (Keller); her husband Samuel G. Sundy, Sr.; her sons, John W. Sundy and Robert E. Sundy; her granddaughter Kristen Sundy; and her siblings, Katie Jumper, Louise Gutherie, Eugene Burd and James Burd.

She is survived by: her children, Sam G. Sundy, Jr. (Carolyn) of Mechanicsburg, Sharon K. Gross of Elliottsburg and Sandra Lee Sundy of Carlisle; and her siblings, Mary Kuhn of Carlisle, Miles Burd of Loysville and Samuel Burd of Newville. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
