In loving memory of James E. Snell of Luzerne, Pennsylvania, who departed this world on October 1, 2025 at the age of 94. James leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Snell and Pauline Donley Snell; his wife Patricia O'Boyle Snell of Kingston; and his children, James Snell Jr. of Florida and Rosemary West of Dingmans Ferry.
He is survived by: his stepson David P Snell; his daughter-in-law Karen Snell Wood (Gary Wood) of Mt Top; his stepdaughter Deborah Snell Laub (Mark Laub) of Northampton; and his grandchildren, Bradley Snell (Jacquelyn Snell) of Summerville, SC and Brittany Snell Moser (George Moser) of Dallas. He is also survived by great grand children.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hugh B. Hughes & Son, Inc. Funeral Home (1044 Wyoming Ave, Forty Fort, PA 18704). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to American Legion Post 644 in Swoyersville.
