With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Glenn Erwin Fretz of Macungie, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 14, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Jane Aylor Fretz; his parents, John Erwin and Margaret Souders Fretz of Emmaus, PA; his children, Jay Fretz and Dana Fretz Friz; and his brother David Fretz.
He is survived by: his uncle Harvey Fretz; his cousin John; his daughters, Gwen Fretz Reed (Calvin) of Buckeye, AZ and Meredith Fretz Merino (Stephen) of Media, PA; his stepchildren, Joni Scandola of Silver Spring, MD, Julie Scandola (Douglas Proctor) of Stuarts Draft, VA, James Scandola of Houston, TX and John Scandola (Cassidy) of Seattle, WA; and his sister Jean Fretz Shelling of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
