She was predeceased by : her parents, John Coley Brown and Bessie Alliene Brown (Etheredge); her son Donald Finley Daugherty Sr.; and her siblings, Elmore, Tollie, Roy, Bobby, Henry Brown, Pauline Claro, Dot Downey, Lucille Boyd and Marie Zentz.

She is survived by : her friend Christine; her children, Lyman S. Daugherty (Kim Anglin) of Branson, MO and Nancy C. Dougherty (Ed) of Allentown, PA; her grandchildren, Ashley Schimonitz (David), Christopher Dougherty (Kristen), Stacey Daugherty, Emily Dougherty, Sarah Dougherty and Don Daugherty Jr.; and her siblings, Eloise Stokes, Georgia McKay, Alice Oliver and Jerry Elijah Brown. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
