He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilal Moreef and Rahmeh Moreef (Essa); his son Nabil Moreef; and his siblings, Eliah, Yacoob, Tlayjeh, Wedad and Georgette.
He is survived by: his wife Esther Moreef (Alsalameh); his children, Maan, Yacoob, Manaf, Maysoun Kreit and Ghada Suleiman; and his sister Munira Shalash. He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren; and 10 Great-Grandchildren.
