He was predeceased by : his parents, John Gavin and Elizabeth Gavin (Brady); and his sister Helen Mamrak. He is survived by : his wife Lorene Gavin (Lutz); his daughters, Kathleen Gavin (Anita Kelly) of New Tripoli, PA and Jacqueline Gavin (Matthew Anderson) of Macungie, PA; his sisters, Elizabeth Higbee of Moorestown, NJ and Ruth Davitt of Shadow Hills, CA; and his grandchildren, Sean Anderson and Elise Anderson.
