He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Galus and Stephanie Galus (Szulewski). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Galus (Maskee); his daughters, Amy Kurz (Frederick), Jenny White (Johnathan) and Sarah Smith (Padraic); his grandchildren, Gavin, Paige Kurz, Keaton, Cole, Gatlyn White, Seamus and Stella Smith; and his siblings, Stanley Galus (Nancy) and Susan Dunn.
