He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin C. Schultz and Dorothy A. Schultz (Berger); his sister Jean Haas; and his nephew Brian Derr. He is survived by: his close friend Joy Benfield; his brothers, Gary Schultz (Judith), Melvin Schultz, Jr. and Jeffrey Schultz; his nieces, Amy Skena and Amanda Olson; and his nephew Andrew Schultz.
