She is survived by: her husband James William Swankler Jr.; her sons, Jim Swankler (Pamella Ireland) and Mark Swankler (Kimberly); and her grandchildren, Pilar, Paloma, Liz Newton-Tanzer (Gavin), Marc A. (Kendra), Austen (Morgan), Damon (Sarah) and Noah.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home (176 Clay Pike, Irwin, PA 15642). A Mass was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Edward Catholic Church (120 St Edward Ln, Herminie, PA 15637).
