He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Lucas, Jr. and Shirley Ann "Walker" Lucas; and his siblings, Eva Boob, Randal Lucas and Brenda Swanger.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Barbie); his daughters, Elizabeth Hochstetler (Jason) of Columbus, OH and Susan Lucas of Aaronsburg; his grandchildren, Jason Lucas of Madisonburg, Caleb Lucas (Katlan Bowersox), Kyle Lucas, Cameron Diehl, Isis, Evan Lucas, Paige and Allie Hochstetler; his great grandchildren, Lena, Karlan and Kinsley; and his sister Belinda Decker of Centre Hall. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
