He was predeceased by: his parents, David E. Johns and Edna D. Johns (Spackman); and his siblings, Joseph Johns and Linda Condon. He is survived by: his children, Denny K. Johns (Pam) of Curwensville, PA and Lori A. Godissart (Tim Kinch) of Emerald Isle, NC.; and his grandchildren, Tyler Johns of Curwensville, PA, Kyle "Bug" Johns (Emily) of Falls Creek, PA, Nathan Godisssart (Samantha Smith) of Three Springs, PA, Brent Godissart (Becca) and Lauren Shuma (Aaron) of Bellefonte, PA.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Curwensville Alliance Church 725 Susquehanna Ave. Curwensville, PA 16833, Grampian Lions Club P.O. Box 114, Grampian, PA 16838, or Curwensville Little League, 667 Lincoln Avenue, Curwensville, PA 16833.
