He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Ellen Barber (McKinstry); his parents, John A. Barber and Ann M. Barber (Volko); and his sister Rita A. Morella. He is survived by: his children, William T. Barber (Kris Barber), Pamela M. Carter (Thomas Carter) and John A. Barber III (Regan Barber); his grandchildren, Nicole Buchanan (Chris Buchanan), Billy Barber, Ryan Carter, Corinne Barber and Brett Barber; and his sister Eleanor Imrisik.
