He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Schwartz and Freda Schwartz (Diamond); and his sister Roberta Solomon. He is survived by: his wife Beatrice E. Schwartz (Lloyd); his son Aaron M. Schwartz (Jennifer) of Etters; his grandchildren, Madisen (Danny), Hailey (Houston) and Regan (Shane); and his caregiver Lisa Lieberknecht. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
