He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen C. Eckard (Wagner); his parents, Charles Eckard and Mary Lee Eckard (Crumrine); and his sons, Norman C. Eckard, Jr., Stanley Eckard and Robert C. Wagner.
He is survived by: his close friend Sandra Wilt; his daughters, Shauna R. Wolf of Mount Wolf and Donna M. Kimmel of York; his half-sister Sylvia Lee of Springfield, Missouri; and his motorcycle buddy John Snyder. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, and their children.
