Alvin touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. He was predeceased by: his parents, Parke Herr and Esther Herr (Buchen). He is survived by: his wife Doris Herr (Gish); his children, Gregory (Beth) of Manheim, Jeffrey (Deborah) of Center Valley and Sheri Yoder (Randall) of Christiana; and his sisters, Dora Brubaker (Paul) of Manheim, Rosene Martin of Spring Grove and Linda Auker (Thomas) of Bassett, VA.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
