It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David M. Shelly of Manheim, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Shelly and Anna Shelly (Miller); his son Dale K. Shelly; and his sister Ruth Shelly. He is survived by: his wife Ruth G. Shelly (Kulp) of Manheim; his children, David Shelly, Jr. (Faye) of Manheim and Deb Schompert of Manheim; his siblings, Orval Shelly (Pat) of Manheim, Rhoda Shelly of Manheim, Fannie Shelly of Manheim, Anna Mary Stoner of Quentin and Kathryn Saylor (Stanley) of Lancaster; his grandsons, Michael Schompert (Jennifer), Douglas Shelly and Bryan Shelly; and his great grandchildren, Calleigh, Noah and Brielle Schompert.
Viewing will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the East Fairview Church (1187 Fairview Rd, Manheim, PA 17545). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
