As Deacon Richard departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Deacon Richard. Though Deacon Richard may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard A. Ryan, Sr. and Margaret Ryan (Whyte); and his wife Dolores M. Ryan (Devlin). He is survived by: his children, Richard (Celia), Terry (Pam), Dolores Reidenbach (Randy), Sharon Ryan, Timothy (Becky) and Sean (Susan). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; a growing number of great grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (904 Mill Rd, Elizabethtown, PA 17022). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the St Vincent de Paul Society at St. Peter Catholic Church.
