She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Elliott and Myrtle Elliott; and her sisters, Dorothy Hamilton, Betty Litzinger and Mary DiMauro.
She is survived by: her husband James Messman; and her children, Bruce Bowen (Vivian), Deborah Knaub (Curt), James Beall Jr. (Deb), Michelle Schell, Dana Schuessler (Brian), Kevin "Scott" Beall and Tonya Melchior (Fred). She is also survived by ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren, extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Salem United Methodist Church (140 N Penn St, Manheim, PA 17545). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
